Description

Thank you to :icon88-lawstock: [link] for the use of this awesome stock.
I just had to make a Spring ATC out of it. The small view of the picture is the actual size of the drawing. The large view is it blown up to an enormous size and looks a bit strange.
This was given to :claudiamm37: as a Spring ATC trade.

Happy Spring everyone!

I enjoy a piece that grabs my attention, right away. This piece does that, for a few reasons: Who doesn't like a cute duck? And technically, using these blue(s) and yellow(s) always works, the reflective properties of the hues you chose are always appealing. The composition is balanced, and the focal point, the eye, is a perfect example of the first element of design: Point. I enjoy the use of materials, the brush strokes add weight to the fine lines of the color pencils.
Your variation on blues, in the background, adds interest and value, as well as texture, that supports the subject, without detracting from it.

An overall wonderful piece, technical aside, who doesn't like a cute duck?
